Meet NYX!

NYX is actually a Mini Toggenburg/Fainter cross given to us by a friend up in Utah! We received her to be able to also make and sell goat milk soaps!

She is actually named after the makeup brand "NYX" due to her mother (Mini Toggenburg) being named L'Oréal.

Meet Lady and Libelle!

These sweethearts were house raised together as "sisters" as runts of triplets, NYX joining them a few months after. Their mothers rejected them, Libelle at birth and Lady a few days after. Lady had been rejected by her mother due to her being a doeling, as we suspect. The mother had rejected her doelings 3 years in a row while keeping the bucklings. We believe Libelle was rejected due to her mother choosing the two stronger bucklings of the 3 born. Libelle was very weak and has a lazy eye which does impact her vision. She has the nickname "Lazy Eye Libelle" and no, this doesn't hurt her feelings so don't worry. These two are inseparable, NYX following not too far behind. NYX may be larger than them, but these two brought in their new younger sister as if she was there the whole time!

Meet Bubba!

Bubba was my very first goat that I could call my own. He is the main reason I stuck with the fainting goats. He was the runt of quads (3 boys, 1 girl)!  This sweet boy was raised in the house by my mother and I, mostly me as a little elementary school kid. He got the name Bubba just because that is what my mom would call him and it just sort of stuck with him. This goat went to my school for presentations, was my showmanship goat since 2019 when I decided to retire him. He will be coming back at our Made In America Show 2022 since he only has a few more points to become a double supreme champion! Bubba has been a demonstration for the Ramona Stars 4H group, a practice showmanship goat for new handlers, and a huge part of my life.

Thank you Bubba for always being there to go on random rants about school, even though you don't know what it is and I'm 99.99% percent sure you didn't understand a single word I was saying.
